TheTotal Value Solution
Shaw Electric Co. has relocated business operations to Southfield, MI. In a move designed to accommodate Shaw’s newly expanded business divisions, Shaw Electric, along with Shaw Systems & Integration and Shaw Service & Maintenance, has consolidated two widely separated office locations into a single new 47,000 square foot facility on Telegraph Rd. in Southfield. The move was precipitated by a need for a more functional facility than what was available in either of the two former buildings.
The new building provides much needed space for the growing B.I.M. development staff along with larger training facilities for internal staff training and new product training for customers. Warehouse space more than doubled, allowing Shaw to offer secure storage of job stock of a more critical nature such as network switches and switchgear. Part of the warehouse space is devoted to a prefabrication facility for manufacturing of electrical assemblies in a controlled environment, improving both the quality of the end product as well as lowering the cost for the end user.
