Jim Jones, president of Shaw Fire Detection Services, oversees all contracting and engineering operations with more than 30 years of experience in the life safety field. He has achieved NICET Level IV certification and is a member of AFAA, NFPA, NECA and the IBEW. Jim has been instrumental to our success in being recognized as a leader in fire alarm design/build contracting.
Shaw Fire Detection Services is a State of Michigan-certified fire alarm contractor, an IBEW Union electrical contractor and became one of the nation’s first electrical construction companies to be ISO9001 registered. The company is signatory to both the Journeyman inside Wireman and Limited Energy IBEW Union agreements in Detroit and Ann Arbor.
